Such a pretty beach! We went on a weekday and the beach was well groomed and not busy at all. There's a nice, good size playground for the kids. Bathrooms are well maintained and outhouses available if after hours. I need to frequent this state park more often.
The beach does have a public restroom and a play area for kids. Grills are also available near the picnic benches. It's a good place for family reunions. Good for picnics.
This was our first time to Ellacoya State Park. Beautiful beach, nice playground, clean bathrooms, camping grills,Volleyball ground. We had good time. Even we went on long weekend it wasn’t crowded. Lots of picnic tables.
A Hidden Gem full of surprises:
I recently visited the beautiful 65-acre Ellacoya State Park and was thoroughly impressed by the variety of activities and amenities available. The park features well-maintained hiking and biking trails, which provided hours of outdoor adventure. The pristine beaches were perfect for swimming and soaking up the sun, while the spacious RV lots made for a comfortable camping experience.
The park also offers ample picnic tables for visitors to enjoy a meal in the great outdoors, as well as clean shower rooms for a refreshing rinse after a day of fun. One of the highlights of my visit was discovering the serene Poor Farm Brook located within the park. The peaceful setting and the sound of the babbling brook made for a truly relaxing experience.
Beautiful place to take the family. Huge playground, clean bathrooms, well kept up paths, usable camping grills, small store, and of course and awesome waterfront! Relaxing way to spend the day with the family and have a BBQ or picnic.
A fantastic state park. The beach has amazing views, a bathroom, and a pavilion are also here. I have attended several cook outs here and always have a great time.
Beautiful place. We had a great day. Nice picnic area, nice big playground, little store and clean bathrooms.
Beautiful location. We camped there for 3 nights in October and it was perfect. 30 amp full hook-ups and cable television is available. Verizon reception varies but it's good enough for streaming. Some camping sights are pull in which is strange for a trailer setup but they're always booked. The beach is very big and clean plus there us a boat launch for kayaks or small boats. If you can get a reservation here you will definitely enjoy your stay. 4 starts is for no 50 amp hook-ups but the nice lady at reception told me it's in the plans.
